The remote works via radio frequency. With it you can:
- turn the lamp on / off (single press / double press);
- smoothly adjust brightness (rotate the knob);
- for Relo – also change color temperature (rotate in color temperature mode).

How does the remote control work?
What devices is the Smart Remote compatible with?
The 4BLANC® Smart Remote Control is designed to work with selected 4BLANC® devices, including:
- Relo™
- Penn™
How do I pair the remote with the lamp?
Within the first 20 seconds after plugging the lamp in, simultaneously press and hold the button on the lamp and the button on the remote for 3 seconds. Successful pairing is confirmed by a double flash of the light. The lamp can be paired with only one remote; a new pairing replaces the old one.
How do I unpair the remote?
Within the first 20 seconds after plugging the lamp in (while it is currently paired), simultaneously press and hold both buttons for 3 seconds. A triple flash means the remote is unpaired, and the lamp will no longer respond to any remote.
Does the lamp remember the last settings?
Yes, both models have a memory function: when turned off (including power loss), the last set brightness (and color temperature for Relo) is saved. When turned back on, the lamp resumes those settings.
What batteries does the remote use?
The remote uses 2 × AAA 1.5V batteries
Make sure they are inserted correctly according to the polarity markings inside the compartment. The LED indicator shows battery status:
- White light → Normal battery
- Red light → Low battery (replace soon)
- No light → Battery empty (replace immediately)
Why is my remote not working?
Please check the following:
- Batteries are inserted correctly and not depleted
- The remote is properly paired with the device
- You are within operating range
- The device is powered on

Is the remote waterproof?
No, the Smart Remote is not waterproof.
Avoid using it in humid or wet environments and do not handle it with wet hands.
Is it covered by warranty?
The Smart Remote is covered under 1 year warranty for manufacturing defects.
The warranty includes repair or replacement in case of factory issues.
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage
- Improper use
- Exposure to moisture
- Unauthorized modifications
